The
Seychelles is made up of 115 stunning islands scattered
like a jewelled necklace in the Indian Ocean. Beautiful
white sandy beaches with palm trees and crystal clear
blue waters are the reason people return to the islands
time after time.
Fauna and flora are excellent here and mixed with
the Creole, cuisine, stunning scenery and UNESCO world
heritage sites ie Aldabra Island with over 100,000
tortoises and Vallee de Mai on the island of Praslin
where Coco de Mer is known as the worlds largest seed.
Birds such as sooty terns and fregate birds are found
on Bird Island. The black parrot and paradise flycatcher
are some of the endemic birds.
The Seychelles is also popular
for diving and fly fishing especially at the coral
atoll of Alphonse. There are no high rise properties
in the Seychelles or all night entertainment. It is
more popular for nature reserves, marine parks, diving,
snorkelling, fauna, flora and beaches.

The main airport for the Seychelles is Mahe and a
helicopter or boat transfer can be taken to most hotels.
On the island of Mahe the largest and most popular
beach is Beau Vallon. Whilst Praslin is famous for
Anse Lazio which is one of the best beaches in the
Seychelles. Island hopping is to be recommended using
Air Seychelles, ferries or by helicopter.
Seychelles is a year round
destination with most rainfall Dec-Feb. Visas are
not required for British Citizens. The best festival
not to be missed is Festival Kreol held at the end
of October for a week-here the local people celebrate
Creole cuisine plus dance, music, fashion and arts.
